It gives me joy to pen down an introductory note for the Family of Faith a lay apostolate functioning under the Archdiocese of Hyderabad, Telangana State. We are indeed living in unprecedented times and especially for the church when there is so much work still to be done in the vineyard of the Lord and yet the labourers are few and scattered. I am in full concurrence and I support the Family of Faith which has taken up this challenging responsibility to firstly, catechise through a well standardised set of Catholic instructions approved by the magisterium, secondly, to renew and solidify the catholic faith for our community here

Message

“The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”   (Matt 13:31)

Thus, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and with courage I took that simple step to sow that seed at a tender age and I had no doubt whatsoever that it was absolutely my responsibility to nurture that seed to make it grow into a fruitful tree. That is my clergy life in a simple sentence.

But it doesn’t end there. Those first seeds were sown into my calling as an altar boy which blossomed into my desire to becoming a Catholic priest. When I was a young seminarian graduating myself out of the theology college, I was researching and reading a lot.
